Charlie Morin is a writer, comedian, and visual artist based in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke, where he is inspired by the city’s mural scene. His illustration work focuses on highly expressive characters and vibrant colours. When working digitally, Charlie uses analog-looking tools to give his illustrations a hand-drawn look.

- Completed a 200 sq. ft. mural for Pulse Montreal;
- Screen-prints his own designs, notably team t-shirts for CrossFit competitions;
- Studied at the University of Manitoba’s School of Fine Arts and Winnipeg’s Forum Art Centre;
- Awarded Best new visual artist for The Uniter (2022).
In 2024, Charlie was awarded a Canada Council for the Arts Research and Creation grant to develop the sketch comedy series Ferda [Sesame] Boys, and he is currently seeking production funding to bring the series to screen. Charlie’s writing features realistic dialogue leveled up through wordplay, drawing from his background in transcription and journalism.
